There was no way to tack to Mantas so we decided to go to Esmeraldas again. In this moment we run 6.9 knots.. good winds.. like always when we are on the way to Ecuador.. hehe. We spoke to the Marine Rescue Center of Ecuador and tomorrow we can contact them via VHF when we are next to the coast. They will come with a tackboat (Schlepper) to pick us up and bring us in the harbor. On the way there are several rocks, but as the winds are good like this, we have no problem to steer the course through them.. So we just hope the wind blows and then we are back in Ecuador again.. We made some tests with the engine and guess our fuel injection pump is broken. Bad luck: we have no spare part of it 😉 ..so long..
